Saute Chicken

Here comes one of my favorite recipe, this has always been a hit in the all the parties served so far.
It can be served as a starter. I hope you will enjoy this recipe as much as I do:-). This a pretty quick and easy recipe to make.

Ingredients Required:
500 grams boneless chicken
3 teaspoon ginger paste
3 teaspoon garlic paste
1 large onion sliced
1 green or red bell pepper sliced
1/4 cup chopped spring onions
2 teaspoon soya sauce
1 teaspoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
5 -7 sliced green chillies
1 tablespoon ketchup
1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds
2 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste

Marinate:
Add ginger paste, garlic paste, sliced onions, soya sauce, vinegar, green chillies to chicken. Mix it well and set it aside for 3 to 4 hours. This helps to make the chicken soft and helps enhance the taste.

Cooking Method:
  • Pour oil in a pan, once the oil is warm enough add the marinated chicken to it.
  • Make sure to cook initially at medium to high temperature as the water content in the chicken needs to evaporate. After 5 -10 mins you may reduce the temperature.
  • Keep stirring the chicken every 5 mins, once the chicken is half cooked add salt to taste.
  • When the chicken is almost done add bell peppers, crushed red pepper, ketchup.Stir well and let it cook for another 5 mins. Keep it covered.
  • Now you may transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish with sesame seeds and  chopped spring onions.
Your starter is ready to be served.
Cooking time - 30 mins. Serving size 4 to 5 persons.

Do try this recipe and let me know if you liked it.
